Easy Arroz con Gandules (Rice with Pigeon Peas)

Ingredients
1 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. Sofrito
1 packet Sazon
1 tsp. salt
1 can of Bogopa gandules (pigeon peas)
2 c. water
1 c. white rice
1 Tbsp. capers (optional)
Green olives, according to taste (optional)

Directions:

1. In a saucepan or caldero: Add the oil, Sofrito, Sazon, salt, Bogopa gandules, capers (optional), and water. Bring to a boil, then add the rice. Cook thoroughly, top with olives (optional) and enjoy.
