Easy Arroz con Gandules (Rice with Pigeon Peas)

| 1 Tbsp. oil |
| 1 Tbsp. Sofrito |
| 1 packet Sazon |
| 1 tsp. salt |
| 1 can of Bogopa gandules (pigeon peas) |
| 2 c. water |
| 1 c. white rice |
| 1 Tbsp. capers (optional) |
| Green olives, according to taste (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan or caldero: Add the oil, Sofrito, Sazon, salt, Bogopa gandules, capers (optional), and water. Bring to a boil, then add the rice. Cook thoroughly, top with olives (optional) and enjoy.
