* 1 Tbsp. oil
* 1 Tbsp. Sofrito
* 1 packet Sazon
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1 can of Bogopa gandules (pigeon peas)
* 2 c. water
* 1 c. white rice
* 1 Tbsp. capers (optional)
* Green olives, according to taste (optional)
1. In a saucepan or caldero: Add the oil, Sofrito, Sazon, salt, Bogopa gandules, capers (optional), and water. Bring to a boil, then add the rice. Cook thoroughly, top with olives (optional) and enjoy.
